Following
a motion made at the June 12, 2013, Association
meeting to form a committee to investigate and
present findings on neighborhood deed restrictions,
Ernie Gammage made a thorough investigation of all
properties in Walnut Place and found six different
sets of deed restrictions. Copies of all six sets of
deed restrictions covering Walnut Place were
distributed along with maps of each section at the
April 3, 2014 regular business meeting. It was
decided by those in attendance that more time was
needed to study the pages of information. On April
29, 2015, at a general meeting, the motion passed to
hire an attorney to develop new deed restrictions to
cover the entire neighborhood, all sections of
Walnut Place. However, due to other financial
obligations including the cost of fighting Ferguson
Crossing rezoning, WPNA has been unable to move
forward with this motion.
A spreadsheet comparison of
all existing deed restrictions in Walnut Place
is the first document listed here, and the
amendment process for each Section is the last
document listed.
